The skilled people who build manufactured homes work inside, away from the weather, so working conditions are always optimal.

This creates an environment where top-quality work can be carried out at a peak efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Customers ask us a lot or questions, and below are some of the most commonly asked. If we can't answer your questions here feel free to call us and we will answer all the questions that you have.

How long does the building process take?

Speed and consistent quality are just two of many advantages that manufactured housing provides. Each module box takes about 5 days to construct in the factory. An average Ranch style home will consist of two module boxes and an average Two-Story house will come in four module boxes.

When this construction process is complete; the home is shipped to the home site, ready to be installed on the foundation. Depending upon the production line schedule, delivery of the home can be anywhere between 4-12 weeks after the order is placed.

Once the home has been delivered, it takes an average of 30-60 days to complete for occupancy.

What are some of the major differences between a site built home and a manufactured home?

A major difference of manufactured home construction is the reduced move-in time from start to finish. Concurrent site clearing, excavation, foundation installation, and utility work occur at the home site while craftsmen and craftswomen are busy building your manufactured home in a climate controlled factory.

Additionally, most framing, drywall, electrical and plumbing components, bath fixtures, countertops, cabinetry and flooring are installed at the factory which greatly enhances affordability, reduces pilferage, and reduces the need for multiple on site subcontractors.

The smaller amount of time required to complete your new home results in a reduction of construction loan interest payments.

Another difference is manufactured homes are constructed in a controlled environment without rain, snow, or sun weathering the material before it is assembled to become a component of your new home. We believe it is better to assemble all the materials out of the weather using jigs to make sure everything is being built to the measured specifications.

After the materials are assembled in the plant the modules are ready for delivery to your site. Manufactured homes are built with more materials to withstand the rigors of being transported to your home site. There is less onsite waste and your new home is weather tight and locked up on the very first day.

Is there a Home Warranty?

Most Paradise Homes come complete with a ten year structural warranty. This third party endorsement provides excellent protection for your new home and provides peace of mind for you on this major investment. The RWC Warranty is also transferable to the new owner if you decide to sell your home during the coverage period, adding an attractive feature to a potential buyer.

Some product warranties such as shingles and siding materials are quite longer and are covered by the prospective manufacturer.

What about financing?

Manufactured homes are financed much like site built homes, beginning with a construction loan to make payments during the building process. Upon completion of the home, an end mortgage of up to 30 years is put into place.

We work with many financial institutions that understand the benefits of manufactured home building.

Are the homes energy efficient?

All of our homes are built with 2x6 exterior walls and the homes come with up to R-38 insulation in the roof. The floors are insulated in most models, with up to R-22 insulation.

While several of our homes come with air infiltration house wrap others are Energy Star certified.
